Our resettlement program services a diverse population in the East Bay, from family and parenting support to health system navigation and mental health services. Refugees can request help in a variety of ways.

    Ukrainian Crisis Response

    Over 350 newly arrived Ukrainians have connected with us to receive services since June of 2023.

    We provide individualized support from our Dari and Pashto-speaking case managers and psychologists to start new lives in our community.

Immigration Law

Our Immigration Legal Services include general immigration assistance, removal defense, and specialized legal assistance for Afghans.

Our services for older adults include many resources for aging advice along with specific support in home care. We also have support groups, including a Holocaust Survivor program.

For Children, Youth & Families

JFCS East Bay offers many services for children, youth, and families including preschool consultation, and therapy when determined beneficial.

    Our preschool consultation services bring our early childhood experts into the school to provide guidance to teachers and parents on childhood trauma, child development, behavioral issues, and classroom structure.

Jewish Community Care

Our Jewish heritage and faith are exemplified in our care for the Jewish Community in the Alameda and Contra Costa Counties. We offer counseling for students, a safety net program, support groups, disability services, and more. We also have a special program for Holocaust survivors.
