Providing care for an elderly friend or family member can be all-engrossing and stressful. In this twice-monthly group, participants support each other while learning how to care for themselves, manage stress, establish realistic goals and expectations, and find assistance in the community. The group is facilitated by Nancy Rothschild, the former coordinator for the City of Fremont’s Family Caregiver Support Program.
