Renewal Begins with Atonement
This season calls us to reflect, atone, and renew. The word atonement comes from at-one-ment: to be reconciled, to restore balance within ourselves, our community, and the world.
In the East Bay, many of our neighbors need a sense of balance restored. Jewish elders facing health and financial insecurity, and undocumented friends living in fear, need more than hope. They need someone to walk beside them.
JFCS East Bay is that support. Every day, we help bring people “at one” again with dignity, safety, and care, restoring balance and repairing the world in ways both small and profound.
