Join us for a welcoming community resource and job fair designed especially for newcomers and refugees. Meet fellow newcomers, connect with employers who are hiring, and explore training and education programs that can support your career goals. Community organizations will also be on-site to offer services, guidance, and language support.

This fair is created to support newcomers and refugees as you explore job opportunities, training programs, and community resources in Contra Costa and Alameda Counties. You will be welcomed into a warm and inclusive space where you can meet fellow newcomers who are also building their lives here, as well as employers and community partners who understand your journey and want to support your next steps.

What You’ll Find

At the fair, you can:
• Meet employers from various industries
• Connect with resources including childcare support, transportation discounts, legal and healthcare guidance, and food support
• Participate in on-site screening interviews with employers and staffing agencies
• Enjoy refreshments and snacks
• Print your resume on-site
• Access translation support
• Utilize childcare available on-site
• Attend pre-event trainings to prepare for the fair

Be part of a community-centered event that opens doors for job seekers and expands your organization’s reach. As a vendor, you will have the opportunity to share your services, programs, and employment opportunities directly with newcomers, refugees, and underserved community members in Contra Costa and Alameda Counties. Your participation helps create pathways to stability, education, and meaningful employment while connecting your organization with diverse, motivated talent.

VENDOR SET-UP & ARRIVAL

VENDOR SET-UP & ARRIVAL

  • Set-Up Window: 9:00AM – 9:45AM
  • Please arrive early enough to allow time for parking, check-in, and table set-up.
  • Check in at the vendor registration table upon arrival.

PARKING

Parking is available in the onsite garage. One validation will be provided per company.

There is also free 2- to 4-hour street parking available around the building.

BART parking is $3/day.

  • Pre-event Zoom Orientation with TENT Partnership for Refugees on best practices for engaging newcomer communities
  • Employer Info Zoom Session on January 29, 1pm – 2pm, designed for local recruiters participating in this hiring event to review day-of logistics and learn best practices for recruiting refugee talent. Please click on the event to register!
  • On-site assistance from staff and volunteers
  • Language support available for attendees
